It’s a miracle. On June 6, 2018, I experienced a real, honest-to-God miracle. For the first time in almost 29 years that I’ve lived here, I actually agreed with all four of the letters to the editor. I mean, it don’t get no better than that. Heck, I even agreed with the political cartoon above the letters to the editor.
The letters were: “As the drought continues pray for rain,” “Democracy in Durango is fading away,” “Private parking for oversized vehicles” and “Print the Rockies’ scores and standings.” I mean how can you not like that?
Pray for rain, don’t let city councilors make changes autocratically, provide parking for oversized vehicles instead of giving them tickets, and best of all, print the Rockies scores and standings. Good job, editor. Keep up the good work.
