The Herald (Oct. 16) asserted in an Associated Press story that “Trump says predecessors didn’t honor fallen.”
Trump never said any such thing, if you’ll take the time to watch what he said and enjoy the full context.
I’m not a Trump fan, but I wonder if the AP and The Durango Herald are the least bit embarrassed at joining other liberal media in dropping all pretense of objective reporting while doing everything they can to undercut the president of the United States.
Every Republican president draws the fire of the partisan liberal press; every Democrat president gets his water carried for him.
The Herald has still yet to apologize to the local readers for rushing to assure everyone that Obama’s healthcare plan would allow people to keep their doctors and the costs would be “bent down.”
It’s no longer journalism; it’s pure advocacy and propaganda.
