The Durango Branch of the American Association of University Women held its annual book and author luncheon on March 17 to raise funds that supply scholarships for female students at Fort Lewis College.
We extend our thanks to guest speakers: poet Esther Belin and authors Becky Clausen and Karlene Stange.
Also, thank you to the donors who gave door prizes to fund scholarships: Maria’s Bookshop, Outdoor Exchange, Cantera, Pet Haus, Allen Theaters, Shelly Aaland, Point to Point Graphics, Seasons of Durango and Nature’s Oasis.
Finally, we thank those who attended and listened to the guest speakers and enjoyed each other’s company.
