Video-production firm joins FASTSIGNS
Local television and video-production company FASTFORWARD Media, formerly known as Animas Media, has partnered with FASTSIGNS of Durango to assist businesses’ marketing efforts through digital solutions, broadcasting and advertising.
Preston Benson, video production and Inside Durango TV station manager, will continue video production at FASTFORWARD Media. Scot Davis, who owns Sage Film & Video Productions and recently was hired by FASTSIGNS of Durango, will become the general manager of FASTFORWARD Media.
As a partner of FASTSIGNS, FASTFORWARD Media can provide video production to support local businesses through Internet, mobile and digital advertising. FASTFORWARD Media will continue broadcasting Inside Durango TV, updating content frequently, and will begin to include local news, business, events, sports and information updates. The IDTV sales team will become a part of FASTSIGNS’ advertising sales team led by Jessica Unruh.

Rotary club announces grant recipients
Rotary Club of Durango has awarded grants of $1,000 each to two local nonprofit organizations.
Southwest Smile Makers received a grant that will be used to put fiber optics into the hygiene treatment room so the dentist can use that room for restorative work when not being used for hygiene. Southwest Smile Makers is a dental program of San Juan Basin Health Department founded in 2002. For more information, call 385-4480.
Also receiving a grant was Riverhouse Children’s Center, which used the funds toward the purchase of materials and furnishings for children’s learning centers. Called cozy corners, the learning centers are an intimate and comfortable setting for children to learn independently. Riverhouse Children’s Center provides care and early-education services. Physical therapy firm announces promotion
Advantage Physical Therapy announces the promotion of Jessica Garcia to office manager.
