Know the difference between a regular cloud and a supercell?
For those interested in severe weather, the National Weather Service will provide free storm spotter training in Southwest Colorado next week.
Tuesday's training is in Durango at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Animas Room.
Basic spotter training is from 6 to 8 p.m., while advanced spotter training follows from 8 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday's training is from 6 to 8 p.m. in Pagosa Springs at the Archuleta County EOC Building at 777 County Road 600.
Thursday training is at the Montezuma County Sheriff's office in Cortez at 730 E. Driscoll St.
Basic spotter training is from 6 to 8 p.m., while advanced spotter training follows from 8 to 9 p.m.
Storm Spotter Training is provided by NWS in cooperation with County Emergency Management agencies and Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network (CoCoRaHS).
