Several years ago, we were shown that the use of reusable shopping bags was a major cause of spreading diseases, including E. coli, flu, and other, even nastier, ones.
The banners of plastic bags across the nation were able to convince the ignorant and misinformed to vote to ban the use of plastic bags for shopping carry-out. Very convenient and much more sterile, they were banned in favor of the disease-spreading reusable cloth bags. But voters in Durango weren’t duped into voting for the feel-good agenda that was being forced down our throats by a radical few.
We are being proven correct in our votes against the bag ban.
The major epicenters of the coronavirus are located in areas that support use of reusable shopping bags, and these bags are being proven to help spread this virus, These contaminated areas all banned the use of plastic bags and are now paying the price. Grocery stores and other retail outlets in these locations have begun to prohibit reusable bags, and have instituted plastic bag-only rules.
We all need to insist that our local stores ban the use of reusable shopping bags. If you are following a shopper using the reusable bags, ask that the conveyer be completely sanitized before putting your groceries on the contaminated device. Don’t risk the health of your family to speed up the checkout line.
If you have reusable bags, make sure to wash them in a high bleach concentration and don’t use them in stores. Your bags could very easily contain the virus or other undesirable germs; wash them promptly to eliminate anything dangerous from your home.
Protect yourself and your family by not continuing to use these disease-spreading bag. Vote against any bag ban proposed in this city.
