John Lee, Jr. is the clear choice for LPEA District 2 board!
He is a Colorado native. His great-grandfather homesteaded near Breen, Colorado, and John and Debbie are fourth-generation residents involved with agriculture. Their four children are all students at Fort Lewis College, preparing for the future.
Now retired from the Army, John served twice in Afghanistan. He is presently fire chief of the volunteer Fort Lewis Mesa Fire Department.
John is proud to be an American and cares about the future of La Plata County and its development. Electricity is a key part of our life.
John is a problem-solver and believes in the cooperative electrical delivery system and its efficiency. He feels its budget must be balanced to provide customers safe, reliable electricity at a reasonable cost while being environmentally responsible. LPEA needs to remain strong to continue to provide ready and reliable power.
John is a good citizen and would well represent District 2 on the LPEA board. He knows the rural area of District 2. He relates to rural La Plata County and is most qualified and able to represent LPEA customers of District 2.
