A helicopter drops water on a small brush fire just south of Silverton early Wednesday afternoon, while a Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge maintenance car and passenger train wait. The small fire was quickly extinguished by the Silverton-San Juan Fire Department and the helicopter working for the railroad. And, within an hour, an afternoon downpour fell on Silverton helping to ease the fire danger.
