It was dispiriting to read the
Republicans in Congress, almost without exception, have hewed to the plutocratic authoritarian agenda of Trump and his allies. Democratic control of Congress is the only way out of the morass where they have taken us.
The notion of accomplishing anything constructive by collaborating with Republicans is naive. I would hope for better, but have seen nothing that would lead me to expect it from Iacino.
The Herald’s editors evidently think it would look too partisan to endorse the capable, progressive, principled representative our district and Congress needs, Diane Mitsch Bush.
