‘Fair of Heart and Goosebump Race’ will return to Farmington

San Juan Regional Medical Center will hold its 10th annual “A Fair of the Heart and Goosebump Race” on Feb. 17 at the hospital’s Heart Center, 407 South Schwartz Ave., in Farmington.

The fair will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a timed 5K race and one-mile fun run will start at 11 a.m. Free online registration is open until 3 p.m. Feb. 9 and includes a shirt and race packet.

The fair will offer free screenings, including baseline EKGs, blood pressure checks, measurements of body mass index, target heart-rate calculations and peripheral vascular disease risk assessments. Cardiologists, electrophysiologists and pulmonologists will be available to answer questions. Free CPR and AED classes will also be offered to those 12 and older.
