America and the rest of the world are on a collision course

By Dick Carmack

America (and the world with her) is on a collision course leading to the death of our nation, and by extension the death of civilization on this earth. The Bible foretells the event in many passages and our own observation confirms what it teaches. Sadly, much of the damage is being done by so-called "conservatives."

A universally understood and accepted law of physics is called "The Second Law of Thermodynamics," it's also called "The Law of Increasing Entropy." Entropy being disorder, thus all systems are becoming more and more disordered. We see the evidence of this law everywhere we look. Mountains erode, trees rot and fall down, iron rusts up and people die. I call it the law of dust. The Bible calls it "the curse" and phrases it as follows. Please note the earth itself is cursed as well as the people.

"...Cursed is the ground for thy sake; ...till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." (Genesis 3:17b, 19)

In this very educated and prosperous world most people snicker and sneer, looking down on the Word of God, laughingly believing it's only for the "peasants." When death inevitably comes, however, the laughs turn to cries of anguish as the Law of Dust is realized and man goes to his eternal home. That also is prophesied; only a few will find God and be reconciled to Him through Jesus. Let me give a current example you can check out simply by turning on a TV or reading a "conservative" paper.

We rightly deplore the riots, the burning and the looting we see on the evening news but that is only symptomatic of a deeper disease. It has been a long time since the only vulgarity you saw in print was in a magazine secreted under the counter and sold just to those who asked for it. Now we regularly see swear words simply reading the daily news. We expect vulgarity from some left-wing papers and web sites, or if we listen to Howard Stern, but we are now being given lessons in depravity by those who consider themselves right wing, or conservative. "Hells and damns" and other words I refuse to repeat, have become commonplace and it seems we are in a race to hit the bottom rather than an attempt to crawl upward out of the muck.

We wonder what are they trying to "conserve?" The freedom to destroy themselves and others?

In the second book to the Thessalonians, Paul taught God would send a great delusion that "...they might believe a lie." It's entirely possible we have reached that point. Many considered on the "conservative" side seem to be outdoing the liberals in a contest in thinking they can lead others to the light by wearing blinders. Let's get real and attempt to conserve (conservative) dignity, not depravity. Because they will follow us, do we want our children and grandchildren to be stinking cesspools or reflections of life off clear water? The Law of Dust will soon claim us all. How will we plead on that great day of Judgment? (Hebrews, 9:27)
