Sherwin-Williams’s 2018 color of the year is Oceanside SW 6496, seen on the walls of this office. The company’s director of color marketing, Sue Wadden, said in a statement Tuesday the hue evokes a wanderlust that is both opulent and mysterious. She called Oceanside a widely embraced counterpart in interiors to a range of hues, from neon pink to desert taupe. Oceanside has been used in the design styles of mid-century modern, Mediterranean and ultra-contemporary.
