San Juan County landfill will open at 7 a.m. every Saturday during the summer.

This change has been made to accommodate additional Saturday traffic and will continue through October.

Waste Management is following the terms of their permit and can only allow a set number of people on the face of the landfill at a time. Because of the limitations, there may be short waits to get into the landfill. Users are required to wear a hi-viz vest when they leave their vehicle to unload.
