These three men are not identified but one can easily place their location near Brookside Park, just north of where Junction Creek crosses Main Avenue. Today, a picture from the same position would show the Durango Chamber of Commerce just beyond the white building on the left. There was also no date given for this picture but the car on the street to the right appears to be a 1936 Chevy sedan.
