The Ouray County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a man missing since Feb. 3.

It’s uncertain if the man, Jin Benny Junge, a veteran of the Danish military, ever reached Ouray County, Undersheriff Joel Burk said. The missing-person alert is based on a telephone call from Junge’s brother in Denmark saying he had talked about the area, Burk said.

Junge was in the United States with friends on vacation but stayed when they returned home, Burk said.

Junge, 26, is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 198 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a white 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
