The Colorado State Patrol and emergency services responded to a serious two-vehicle crash near the La Plata County-Montezuma County border.

The crash, which took place shortly before 4:45 p.m., occurred on U.S. Highway 160 at mile marker 65 near the Cherry Creek subdivision, according to Trooper Nate Reid, spokesman with Colorado State Patrol.

“I don’t have a lot of information,” he said at about 6:15 p.m. “One vehicle ended up upside down, and there’s only a mention of two drivers and nothing about any passengers.”

There was no information about any injuries, he said.
