Stop giving the homeless attention

I am responding to all the talk in the paper about the homeless. Everyone is trying to figure out a way to help the homeless with money, clothes, support, etc. That’s nice and all, but if they really didn’t want to be homeless they would quit begging and get to work. I understand that helping the unfortunate is the right thing to do, but enough is enough. How many gas stations, fast food restaurants and hotels are hiring for positions? The homeless are homeless because they are lazy, drug-addicted people who do not want to work for what they want. Leave them alone and stop giving them attention and maybe they will become useful to this society. Thanks.
