The leak had tied up traffic along Goeglein Gulch.
The college said the leak, which occurred about 2 p.m., had been repaired by 4 p.m.
Water was turned back on across campus by 5 p.m., college spokesman Mitch Davis said. The facilities crew had to go to each individual building and turn it back on there, which caused delays.
Sewage was leaking from a pipe in the hillside above Goeglein Gulch. A city of Durango crew assisted the college’s facilities crew in the repairs.
