Elect McLachlan to represent all of us

We share the privilege to live in this town of Durango and La Plata County. We deserve to have representation that represents all of us.

Instead, we have J. Paul Brown, a man who consistently votes against school funding and against every common sense issue involving women’s rights. He owes his livelihood to grazing on public land but rails against the government and others having health care or the chance to be paid a living wage, while living in a town the people who serve him every time he goes to a local business have to work two and three jobs to even think about living here. He has had issues with the Humane Society and never mentions veterans’ issues but injects himself in the Veterans Day Parade having chosen not to serve himself.

He doesn’t understand the responsibility to represent all of us, but only those who agree with him. He needs to go. He barely got elected last time. Don’t let it happen again.

For all of our futures, vote for Barbara McLachlan!
