Animas Alano Club recently entered into a lease-purchase agreement with Durango’s Cowboy Church to provide a space for local 12-step recovery group meetings and other social events, such as potluck dinners, dances, games and community-outreach projects.

The club will hold a grand-opening event, potluck dinner and its annual membership meeting at 6 p.m. April 22, at Durango’s Cowboy Church, 2601 Junction St.
