In response to Cris Riley (Letters, Herald, Sept. 14) and Marianne Pearlman (Sept. 21), I believe Target will be a wonderful choice for Durango.

It will be nice to have an alternative to Walmart, with higher-quality goods.

A Trader Joe’s would do a great deal of damage to Nature’s Oasis and Durango Natural Foods. We already have an ample variety of natural food stores to choose from. Trader Joe’s seems to be a non-issue anyway since it sells alcohol in its stores, which Colorado law does not allow.
