The Durango Arts Center will honor four local women for their years of contributions to the community at Saturday’s annual Sweethearts of the Arts gala. This year’s honorees are Linda Mack, Gemma Kavanagh, Rochelle Mann and Mona Wood-Patterson, and Saturday’s event will include a retrospective and commentary of each’s career.
The event includes an art exhibit of past winners in the Barbara Conrad Gallery. Included will be works by Stanton Englehart (2006) and Mary Ellen Long (2008) as well as works from the collection of the Ballantine family (2007).
