Vote for anyone but the LPEA board

For those of you campaigning to keep the current LPEA board, I ask, are you one of the individuals who have asked the current board repeatedly to answer their shady agenda concerns, that they immediately turn to their lawyer who then tries to push the community member questions under the table?

This election has nothing to do with Tri-State or the use of solar energy as a negative. We the community own shares of Tri-State and LPEA that gave back almost $1 million worth of incentives back to this community and the job force locally. The problem here is a board that refuses to make a balance of the cost of electric in Durango.

There should be a base rate for electricity that is across the board for everyone. Individuals who use solar over-surge the grid with absolutely no way for the electricity to be filtered back into LPEA without costing each individual (95 percent of us) to be forced into higher rates!

I urge each individual in this community to attend the board meetings where you will see the corruption within the current board. Do your research and vote for anyone but the current board. No one needs their shady agendas anymore.
