A pollen-covered bee crawls on a dandelion Tuesday in Hermosa. Dandelions are one of the first foods that supply bees their pollen and nectar after a long winter, said Katrina Blair, founder/director of Turtle Lake Refuge. Turtle Lake Refuge will be hosting the Dandelion Festival on May 4 in Rotary Park.
