Adorn Arc of History with donkey head

Although La Plata County and Colorado are blue or purple, America is predominately red. The GOP now has better national coverage than Verizon. Red is the preferred color for governors in 75 percent of the states and for 74 percent of the seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. So, what happened here in cannabis country? For answers, Google Rocky Mountain heist. Fat cat billionaires, dubbed “The Gang of Four,” with big assists from former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Hollywood celebs, unions and a hodge-podge of liberal splinter groups, banded together as the Colorado Democratic Alliance.

One of their tasks was educating the idiots, which they assigned to unions to implement! The documentary revealed CODA’s strategy, dirty tricks, who they targeted and who they bought. So pleased with their success here, liberals call it the “Colorado Model.” It’s now being implemented by the Democratic National Committee in Texas and other red states with big Electoral College votes. Their focus: 2016! Debbie Wasserman Schultz may miss that one.

Masters of misdirection, CODA portrayed the Koch brothers and National Rifle Association as the unscrupulous bad guys, while CODA stealthily lined the pockets of Democratic politicians and funded despicable smear campaigns against GOP opponents. Payback occurred in 2012 when CODA’s puppets jammed their agenda through the state Legislature and governor’s office. So fast and furious was CODA’s program, opponents and Colorado voters were blindsided.

As for the recall victims: They were expendable; thank you very much. Despite CODA’s role and success in the state’s ridiculous redistricting and championing the only mail-in balloting system in the country, Colorado’s red-leaning voters – CODA’s idiots and Hickenlooper’s “backward-types” – rallied in the election and began to take back our state, sans La Plata County. Sadly, Durango, La Plata County and The Durango Herald are but a tiny blue dot drowning in an enormous sea of red. But they won here. So, will someone please adorn the Arc of History with a donkey head (or maybe the other end)? Durango voters earned it!
