This is evidenced by Kent Wigton, who placed fourth in the Class V competition Sunday during the final day of the annual Winter Carnival at the Third Avenue ski area. Dozens of youngsters of varying ages took part in the two days of competition and the winners will receive their awards at special ceremonies set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Miller junior high school.”

75 years ago: “Durango De Molays paced by Bud Mason, who went on a scoring spree at Ignacio against the Indian school last night, won 31-22.”
