The Bayfield Lions Club and Wolverine School of Personal Safety will host a women-only basic defensive pistol class on Saturday, May 9 at the Bayfield Lions Club/Art Davis range on CR 223. The class is from 9 to 11 a.m. Hearing and eye protection will be necessary, sun glasses are acceptable. The rifle/pistol range will be closed to all other shooting during this event.  Husbands and boyfriends are not invited, sorry guys.

Ladies of any experience are welcome; bring your handguns and ammunition for this ladies only fun day. Learn basic safety and defensive shooting skills or hone the ones you already have. An experienced instructor and assistants will run the class and be available to answer your questions. Targets are provided and bottled water will be available. Registration is not required.

The class is free but donations are appreciated and will go the Bayfield Lions Club. For more information, call Jim at 382-5392.
