Board appreciates support

The board of VIBA-NAZ, a nonprofit that supports Camp Abilities Four Corners, a summer sports camp for visually impaired/blind students who live in the Four Corners, is happy to share that its first Poker Run was a huge success!

Thanks to these businesses, we were able to raise almost $2,000.

Big thanks to: West Slope Liquors, Cork & Bottle, Blondie’s Trophy Room, J. Fargos, Burger Boy, IFA Country Store and High Desert Life, all in Cortez.

Thanks also to: Mancos Motorsports, Dolores Food Market, The Depot, Dave’s Bread, Loops Coffee House & Bistro, Whistlers Walk, 3 Chicks Bakery and Montezuma Mexican Restaurant in Dolores.

Thank you to: The Stateline Bar and Grill, Bangers and Sinclair Gas in Dove Creek. Thank you also to: Fired Up Pizza, Old Tymers Cafe and Cream Bean Berry in Durango.

Thanks to: The Enterprise Bar in Rico, Lone Cone Saloon in Norwood, Eagle Rider in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Organic Family Farms in McElmo Canyon.

The generosity of all of these local businesses is extremely appreciated. Please visit these businesses and tell them thank you!

And finally, a big thanks to all the generous folks who participated in our first Poker Run. Thank you! Our first summer camp is set for June 2022.

With humble gratitude,
