Erb is hard-working consensus-builder

I am writing to voice my support for Heather Erb, who is running for re-election to the LPEA Board in District 4.

Heather is a businesswoman, mother, sitting LPEA board member and strong community leader. More than anything, she is a consensus-builder who works hard to make sure that LPEA moves effectively into the future as a strong member-owned co-op.

The LPEA board is important to our community. Not only does LPEA provide us with reliable, affordable power, it needs to do so in a sustainable way into the future.

Heather works hard to understand all of the factors involved before she votes on board issues. She also works to unite board members to make sure that the co-op is strong and the board functions well. She helped to hire new CEO Mike Dreyspring, ushering in a new era of management at LPEA. She also helped bring efficiency to the board and the grid through her votes on solar energy and her financial management skills.

Heather Erb is a hard-working, dedicated board member who listens to the members in her district and to the employees of LPEA. She also knows how important it is for our community to have local, reliable renewable energy for years to come. She takes our energy independence seriously, and we should take her re-election just as seriously.

I will be voting to re-elect Heather Erb for District 4 and look forward to seeing her push even harder for more local and renewable energy in her next term.
