First Baptist Church of Durango has welcomed Jimmy Thoma to his new role of senior pastor of preaching and teaching.
Thoma was hired as the associate pastor in September 2016 and was then promoted to the lead position when the senior pastor of 15 years resigned. Thoma and his wife, Lindsey, have three children, two of whom were born in Durango.
During the stay-at-home order, Thoma and a team of assistants have been filming sermons, which can be seen on First Baptist Church of Durango’s YouTube page.
