The U.S. Forest Service is recruiting employees for five positions in the San Juan National Forest, including two on the Columbine Ranger District, two on the Dolores Ranger District and one on the Pagosa Ranger District.

Current permanent and seasonal Forest Service employees may apply under the merit program through Nov. 5, while student interns and recent graduates may apply under the pathways program from Monday through Nov. 5.

The Columbine Ranger District will hire a forestry technician and a forester. The Dolores Ranger District will hire a lead forestry technician and a forestry technician. The Pagosa Ranger District will hire a forester.
