The Pine River Heritage Society’s recent pie auction fundraiser in Bayfield was wildly successful but for one problem: Organizers forgot to grab contact information from all of the outstanding bakers in the valley who brought dozens of fresh pies that often attracted bids topping $100.

We just want to thank those bakers with heaps of gratitude for dropping off so many delicious pies, some which were sliced up and sold to those attending our free chili dinner. Proceeds keep our all-volunteer, free museum open from June to September on Mill and Pearl streets in Bayfield.

We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary, so make sure to stop by this summer.
