The Ignacio Multicultural Committee will sponsor a “Parents Night Out” event from 2 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9 to offer parents the opportunity to drop their kids off at Ignacio High School, 315 Ignacio St., to be babysat by high school students for the evening.

Parents can bring children from 2 to 16 years old to the commons area at the high school for check-in.

While parents enjoy a night out, children can watch movies, play games in the gym or engage in other activities. Each child will receive a ticket for a hot dog, popcorn and water.

Cost is $5 per child.
