The La Plata-Archuleta Cattlemen held their annual Chuckwagon Cook-Off on July 29 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Contest results are as follows:

WAGONS

First place-Canyon Trails Ranch, came in by team from Cortez

Second - Durango Cowboy Church

Third - Rafter 76

FOOD

Meat first place - Montoya Cattle Company, second place Durango Cowboy Church, third place Canyon Trails Ranch.

Beans first place - Rafter 76, second place Mountain Trails, third place Durango Cowboy Church.

Potatoes first place - Mountain Trails Chuckwagon, second Durango Cowboy Church, third Canyon Trails Ranch.

Bread first place - Montoya Cattle Company, second Durango Cowboy Church, third Mountain Trails.

Dessert first place - Montoya Cattle Company, second Poverty Flats, third Canyon Trails Ranch.

The all-found food buckle was awarded to Durango Cowboy Church, the best wagon buckle went to Canyon Trails Ranch.
