Fundraiser to benefit emergency workers

The fundraiser “Burning Down the House” will take place from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 22 at Seasons Rotisserie & Grill, 764 Main Ave. The event will benefit Durango’s emergency responders through the 100 Club.

The 100 Club’s mission is to provide financial assistance to families of law enforcement officers and firefighters seriously injured or killed in the line of duty and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.

The benefit is also a “thank you” to the Durango Fire Protection District, which responded to the fire in the 700 block of Main Avenue on Feb. 22, 2008. Seasons burned in the fire and reopened in 2009.

Dinner reservations are required, and space is limited. For more information, visit www.seasonsofdurango.com. For reservations, call 382-9790.
