Equity fellowship seeking participants

Growing Partners of Southwest Colorado seeks six leaders to participate in a Community Organizing Fellowship.

The goal of the fellowship is to connect with and support projects and communities across Archuleta, Dolores, Montezuma, La Plata, and San Juan counties, including the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute tribes. Fellows will network, share skills, and develop solutions to root causes of injustice and inequity.

An average of 16 hours per month will be needed for training and community organizing. Fellows will receive a stipend.

The application deadline is midnight July 5. An optional informational meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 29, at Surya Health & Wellness, 1032 Main Ave.
