The Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering is seeking the community’s assistance with the selection of the grand marshal for the 35th Annual Durango Cowboy Parade, which will take place Sept. 30 in downtown Durango.

Nominees should be of good character, good leadership and who have made a positive impact in the La Plata County area. Someone who supports and contributes to the preservation of Durango’s Western heritage and rural way of life.
