Bayfield Parks and Recreation will host the Bayfield Spring Festival and Easter Egg Scramble 5K/1K from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 20, at the Pine River Senior Center.

Bayfield Spring Festival is an event for the whole family. The day starts with the Easter Egg Scramble 5K/1K, which incorporates an Easter egg hunt along the 5K course. After the race there is a free BBQ in the park, activities, Easter egg hunt prizes and raffles, a bouncy house and more. The Easter Bunny will be there to help kick off the Easter egg hunt for children under 10 years old.

The registration deadline for the Easter Egg Scramble is Friday. Register at Bayfield Town Hall or mail registration forms to P.O. Box 80, Bayfield, CO, 81122. To be guaranteed a race shirt, register by the early registration deadline of April 5. Race day registration and check-in opens at 8 a.m. at the Pine River Senior Center, 111 W. South St.
