Wells Group Real Estate, HomesFund and other local lenders are collaborating on a series of homeownership workshops. The first workshop will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 8 at Wells Group, 1130 Main Ave.

The community outreach program will be lead by experts to help educate buyers about mortgage loans and down payment assistance programs. The workshop is geared toward enabling local people purchase a home by providing them necessary tools and next steps in the homeownership process. This is a truncated version of a class by HomesFund.
