Ed Aber, with the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, looks at T-shirts that will be given away to the first 650 participants at Saturday’s Law Enforcement Memorial Day River Walk, which starts at 11 a.m. with a parade on Main Avenue to the Durango Community Recreation Center. A memorial service will be held at noon at the rec center, followed by a memorial walk to Rotary Park, where there will be booths and a community barbecue.
