Steve Scheid of Vivid Color Painting of Durango powerwashes the smokestack Monday at the old power plant that is now part of Durango Discovery Museum. The wash was part of preparations for painting the Durango landmark, which has weathered over the years. The color will remain the same for historical accuracy.
