Local Salvation Army Coordinator Carla Wood will speak to the Rotary Club of Durango at its next meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.

Wood is the Service Extension Center coordinator for the Salvation Army in the area. She is a longtime La Plata County resident who has 15 years experience in social service work, including the past five years with the Salvation Army.
