Wayne and Melody Semler of Bayfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Lynn Semler, to Cody Lynn Gifford, the son of Bill and Kimberly Gifford of Lovell, Wyo.
A graduate of Bayfield High School, Megan earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in animal and meat science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. In January 2015 she started working for JBS USA, based in Greeley. Cody earned an associate's degree in animal science from Casper College, then transferred to Colorado State and earned his bachelors degree in animal science. He is currently pursuing a dual master's degree from Colorado State University in meat science and human nutrition.
A wedding celebration is planned for July 18, 2015. The couple will reside in Northern Colorado.
