Pine River Senior Center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays (potluck on first Tuesday of month, BYO lunch on other Tuesdays), Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hot lunches are served at noon on Wednesdays and Fridays. Call 884-5415 by 9 a.m. of the day to reserve a meal.

December holiday schedule - The Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and 31, and Friday, Dec. 26.

Wednesday, Dec. 3 - Salad bar, combo burrito smothered w/ green chili, tomato and lettuce, cilantro brown rice, grapes.

Friday, Dec. 5 - Salad bar, hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cranberry- apple salad.

Wednesday, Dec. 10 - Salad bar, BBQ sausage and peppers, oven browned potatoes, coleslaw, rye roll, tapioca pudding.

Friday, Dec. 12 - December birthdays celebrated - Chicken fried steak, whipped potatoes, country gravy, broccoli w/ cheese, wheat roll, oranges, birthday cake.

Wednesday, Dec. 17 - Salad bar, braised pork ribs w/ sauerkraut and apples, peas w/ pearl onions, wheat roll, pineapple, frozen vanilla yogurt.

Friday, Dec. 19 - Christmas dinner celebration - Prime rib, twice-baked potato, green bean bundles, Christmas salad, dinner roll, Christmas dessert.
