12:07 a.m. A man was setting off fireworks in the 5800 block of Main Avenue.

6:56 a.m. A man was sleeping on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of East Second Avenue.

10 p.m. A man possibly on drugs was yelling at the top of his lungs and listening to loud music in the 5800 block of Main Avenue.

10:20 p.m. A drunken man was harassing people in the 1100 block of Main Avenue.

11:55 p.m. A man was yelling in the middle of the road in the 900 block of Main Avenue. Police made an arrest.

Firefighters and medics responded to 18 calls Wednesday, including three non-emergency transports, two instances of chest pain, two traffic accidents and two traumatic injuries.
