11:37 a.m. Four homeless people were passing around a bottle of alcohol, and a woman was passed out in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

12:12 p.m. Someone reported that three men stole a chain saw at south City Market, 6 Town Plaza.

2:26 p.m. A man in a gray hoodie was standing in the road near College Drive and East Eighth Avenue.

3:56 p.m. A wallet was stolen from a man’s vehicle overnight in the 2800 block of West Second Avenue.

4:08 p.m. Two drivers, one in a Hummer and another in a white truck, were involved in a side-swipe crash near Main Avenue and College Drive.

5:10 p.m. A woman was inquiring about how to get her marijuana pipes back from police, according to a report in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

9:59 p.m. A man driving a white Prius stole two bundles of wood from Conoco, 901 Camino del Rio.

11:22 a.m. Someone wanted to talk to a deputy about marijuana-growing regulations in La Plata County.

2:19 p.m. Someone wanted to talk to a deputy regarding an issue with county snowplows, according to a report in the 2400 block of County Road 500, north of Vallecito reservoir.

5:20 p.m. A 19-year-old woman threatened a woman’s son, she reported in the 100 block of Brookside Trail, near Bayfield.

9:11 p.m. Someone reported debris in the road causing a traffic hazard in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 550, near northern city limits.

9:15 p.m. Ten cows were blocking the road in the 2400 block of County Road 222, east of Elmore’s Corner.

Firefighters and medics responded to 13 calls Wednesday, including four fire alarms and nine medical calls.
