7:36 a.m. A drunken man was sleeping under trash and talking to himself in an alley in the 500 block of East Fourth Avenue.

3:47 p.m. A man riding a bicycle ran into a vehicle at Wal-Mart. Police issued a warning.

3:55 p.m. People took a car for a test drive and had not returned after four hours from 4X4 Auto Sales, 21698 U.S. Highway 160.

8:58 p.m. A driver was spinning doughnuts in his vehicle in the Mercury Village parking lot, 150 Mercury Village Drive.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 40 calls Friday through Monday, including a brush fire in the 900 block of East Animas Road (County Road 250), a fuel spill in the 1000 block of Main Avenue and a power line or transformer problem in the 20100 block of U.S. Highway 160.
