Eugenie Bouchard of Canada, the No. 13 seed at Wimbledon, beat No. 3 Simona Halep in straight sets Thursday at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships in Wimbledon, London, to become the first Canadian ever to reach a Grand Slam singles final. She’ll face No. 6 Petra Kvitova, the 2011 champion at age 21.
