Women’s conference to be held at Fort Lewis College

Calling all business women.

Colorado Small Business Development Center Network will host its fifth annual Southwest Colorado Women’s Small Business Conference on July 24 at Fort Lewis College. The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The cost is $50 to attend.

The event will feature training sessions, one-on-one consulting and will provide local resources for women entrepreneurs, according to a news release issued by the SBDC. Opportunities for networking will also be available.

Roxane White, chief of staff to Gov. John Hickenlooper, will be the keynote speaker at the conference.

The conference is held annually in Durango to promote the success of women-owned business throughout the area, according to the release.
