25 years ago: “Increased revenues contributed to a July profit for La Plata Community Hospital. The hospital made $9,229 in July after a tax subsidy of $48,357. The profit brings the total loss for the year to $42,268 after a $338,499 tax contribution. July is the fifth month this year the hospital has recorded a profit.”
